Korumburra - Heart of the South Gippsland Hills
Korumburra is the gateway to the Prom Country Region.
A town built on coal mining, but now more well known for dairy farming and manufacturing, Korumburra is the 'Heart of the South Gippsland Hills'. Just 90 minutes from Melbourne and 25 minutes from the beach.
The iconic Coal Creek Community Park & Museum is located in Korumburra, along with a fully accredited Visitor Information Centre, making the town a good place to stop whilst on a day-trip or a longer journey.
Markets and special events are often held at Coal Creek, and at other venues around Korumburra, so be sure to check out our events page for more details.
